Trum is the old slang for "triumph". Scholars have also speculated it might also have originated from the Vinthish word trumm, which means "flourish" or "stroke" (commonly used in connection with a final or winning stroke. It is commonly used to refer to the eleventh card in any of the three suits of Arcanum Cards; most people are unaware of the term's origin, only knowing the card game usage.
