Everwind Wiki's policies and guidelines aim to provide a comprehensible framework of "do's", "don'ts" and best practices for editors at this wiki. Policies set general rules for the wiki's administration and its content. Their goal is to establish basic criteria for all content and rules for using administrative tools.

Guidelines describe desired etiquette and common practice in the creation, editing and organization of articles on this wiki. Their goal is to make the wiki easier to use for both editors and readers alike and to make its appearance more consistent and streamlined.

Content Guidelines[]

Content material should come directly from any of the following official sources, in order of most reliable:

 1. Official Everwind Books, Subchapters, and Stories
 2. The Everwind Times website
 3. The Everwind Facebook page
 4. The Everwind Twitter page

Since the writer, Janden Hale, is so accessible, contacting him directly with questions and clarifications is also recognized as an acceptable way to obtain information for the wiki.

Citing Sources[]

Whenever possible, try to cite sources. The general formatting for the most common types of sources can be found below.

Everwind Times Articles The code below shows how to cite an article in the Everwind Times. The EW writers are all listed on their own pages here in the wiki, so the author name should be linked to their page. Follow with the date, the link to the article (URL + Title of the article in italics and quotes), a comma, and then "Everwind Times".

Official Books Citing an officially published book is a lot easier. Simply use the following format, which includes a link to Janden's page here, the publishing year, and a link to the book's page on here:

The last section of the page should be the reference section. Include it like this: For one column:

References
reflist

For two columns:

References
2

The out put will look like this:[1][2]
