The Crownprince is the prince that is next in line for the throne. Some countries allow females to be successors, in which case they are called the Crownprincess. The Crownprince almost always also carries the title Daeken of whatever the capital of the region is. For example, Crownprince Falder of Brant is the Daeken of Elidel. Lorican of Elund, after the invasion by the Clavics, took the new title Daeken of Caldivar instead of The Rorhold.
